Terms of Service

1. License Grant

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for your personal, non-commercial purposes strictly in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to:

• Modify, copy, or create derivative works based on the Application
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or transfer the Application
• Use the Application for any unlawful purpose

2. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy and completeness of all information you enter into the Application
• Maintaining the security of your device and any access credentials
• All activities that occur on your device in connection with the Application
• Ensuring that your use of the Application complies with all applicable laws
• Backing up your device if you wish to preserve your data beyond the Application

3. Nature of the Application

Travel Document Vault is a personal organization tool designed to help you store and manage information about your travel documents. You acknowledge and agree that:

• The Application does not verify the authenticity or validity of any documents
• The Application does not provide legal, immigration, or travel advice
• The Application does not guarantee compliance with any government or immigration requirements
• The Application is not a substitute for official government documents
• Expiry reminders are a convenience feature only and should not be relied upon as your sole reminder system

You should always verify travel requirements, document validity, and renewal deadlines with official government sources.

4. Data Storage and Loss

All data stored in the Application is kept exclusively on your local device. We do not maintain backups, cloud storage, or any means of data recovery. You acknowledge that:

• Deleting the Application will permanently delete all data stored within it
• Device loss, damage, or malfunction may result in permanent data loss
• We cannot recover any data that is lost for any reason
• You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your important information

5. Purchases, Updates, and Refunds

The Application offers optional in-app purchases ("Pro" features). All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. You acknowledge that:

• Pro purchases grant access to premium features for the current major version of the Application
• Future major versions (e.g., version 2.0) may require a separate purchase or upgrade fee
• Minor updates and bug fixes within the current major version are included at no additional cost
• We may offer discounted upgrade pricing to existing Pro users at our discretion

Regarding refunds and payment processing:

• All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law
• Refund requests must be directed to Apple through their standard refund process
• We do not process payments directly and have no access to your payment information
• You may restore purchases on other devices using your Apple ID

6. Intellectual Property

The Application and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Travel Document Vault (provided by Mustafa Hafeez). The Application is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• WARRANTIES THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE
• WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION OBTAINED THROUGH THE APPLICATION
• WARRANTIES THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED

You use the Application at your own risk. We do not warrant that the results obtained from the use of the Application will be accurate or reliable.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TRAVEL DOCUMENT VAULT (PROVIDED BY MUSTAFA HAFEEZ) BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Missed travel, flights, or appointments due to reminder failures
• Expired documents or failed renewals
• Immigration or travel complications
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Application shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Application in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Travel Document Vault (provided by Mustafa Hafeez) from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from:

• Your use of and access to the Application
• Your violation of any term of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any intellectual property or privacy right

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Application immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Application will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Application after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Application and supersede any prior agreements.
