Future Major Versions (v2.0, v3.0, etc.)
If we release a major new version (e.g., Travel Document Vault 2.0) with significant architectural changes or substantial new capabilities, it may be offered as a separate purchase within the same app.
How major version upgrades work:
- • Major versions (v2.0, v3.0) are released as regular app updates through the same App Store listing
- • When you update, your v1.x Pro features continue to work-you're not forced to upgrade
- • New v2.0 features are offered as an optional in-app upgrade
- • You can choose to stay on v1.x Pro or upgrade to v2.0 Pro-entirely your choice
Our commitment to existing customers:
- • Your v1.x Pro access never expires-use it for as long as you want
- • v1.x Pro users will receive 50% off upgrade pricing as a thank you for your support (e.g., $4.99 instead of $9.99)
- • No pressure, no "your version is outdated" nags-just an optional upgrade when you're ready
- • Major version announcements will be posted on our website and in App Store release notes
Industry Standard: Many premium apps use similar versioning models. This approach allows us to keep the initial price affordable while ensuring long-term sustainability to continue improving the app.

Payment Processing
All purchases are processed through:
- • Apple App Store (iOS, iPadOS, macOS)
- • Google Play Store (Android) - coming early 2026
We do not:
- • Process payments directly
- • Store your payment information
- • Have access to your credit card or billing details
Your payment information is handled exclusively by Apple or Google according to their security standards.
Refund Policy
Refund requests must be directed to the App Store (Apple or Google) through their standard refund process:
- • Apple: Request refund at reportaproblem.apple.com
- • Google: Request refund through Google Play Store app or play.google.com
App store refund policies typically allow:
- · 14-90 days depending on jurisdiction
- · Refunds for accidental purchases
- · Refunds if app doesn't work as described
Note: We (Travel Document Vault) do not control or process refunds. All refund decisions are made by Apple or Google according to their policies.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to adjust pricing for new purchases at any time. Price changes do not affect:
- • Existing Pro users - you keep what you paid for
- • Features already purchased - no retroactive price increases
- • Free tier users - free features remain free
If you purchase Pro at $9.99, that's your price forever (for v1.x). Even if we increase the price to $14.99 for new users tomorrow, your purchase is honored.
Regional Pricing
Pricing may vary by region based on:
- • Local currency conversion rates (set by Apple/Google)
- • Regional taxes and fees
- • App store policies in your country
The price you see in your local App Store is the final price you'll pay (including any applicable taxes).
No Hidden Fees
We will never charge you for:
- • Downloading or installing the app
- • Bug fixes or security updates
- • Using features you already purchased
- • Accessing your own documents
- • Syncing between your own devices (via App Store account)
- • Customer support
There are no in-app purchases beyond the single Pro unlock. No consumables, no coins, no premium currencies, no surprise charges.

We chose a one-time purchase model because:
